{"id":116626,"date":"2017-01-13T16:00:03","date_gmt":"2017-01-13T16:00:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ssprojects.biz\/newsBlog\/?p=116626"},"modified":"2017-01-13T02:30:27","modified_gmt":"2017-01-13T02:30:27","slug":"puff-pastry-4-ways","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ssprojects.biz\/newsBlog\/?p=116626","title":{"rendered":"Puff Pastry 4 Ways"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3_Pp9fwLkBY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Here is what you&#8217;ll need!<\/p>\n<p>RECIPE:<br \/>\nCream Cheese Filling<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS<br \/>\n1 8-ounce block cream cheese<br \/>\n\u00bc cup granulated sugar<br \/>\n\u00bd teaspoon vanilla extract<\/p>\n<p>PREPARATION<br \/>\nIn a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.<\/p>\n<p>Strawberry Pastry Diamond<br \/>\nMakes 9 pastries<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS<br \/>\n1 sheet thawed puff pastry<br \/>\n5 strawberries, halved with stems removed<br \/>\n9 tablespoons Cream Cheese Filling, recipe above<br \/>\npowdered sugar<\/p>\n<p>PREPARATION<br \/>\nPreheat oven to 400\u00b0F.<br \/>\nCut the puff pastry into 9 equal squares.<br \/>\nTaking one of the squares, fold one of the edges to the opposite edge.<br \/>\nLeaving a \u00bd centimeter border, cut about \u00be of the way from the bottom of the triangle to the tip on both sides, making sure the cuts do not touch.<br \/>\nUnfold the square.<br \/>\nTaking the top flap, fold it towards the 2 cuts near the bottom.<br \/>\nTake the bottom flap and fold it towards the top edge.<br \/>\nPlace about a tablespoon of the cream cheese filling in the middle, then place a strawberry half on top.<br \/>\nRepeat with the remaining pastry squares.<br \/>\nBake for 15-20 minutes until pastry is golden brown and puffed.<br \/>\nServe with a sprinkle of powdered sugar!<\/p>\n<p>Raspberry Pastry Flower<br \/>\nMakes 4 pastries<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS<br \/>\n1 sheet thawed puff pastry<br \/>\n20 raspberries<br \/>\n4 tablespoons Cream Cheese Filling, recipe above<br \/>\nPowdered sugar<\/p>\n<p>PREPARATION<br \/>\nPreheat oven to 400\u00b0F.<br \/>\nCut the puff pastry into 4 equal squares.<br \/>\nLeaving a \u00bd centimeter border, make 8 total cuts along the edges of the square, with each cut going about \u2153 of the way through the length of the edge. Make sure the cuts do not touch.<br \/>\nPlace a tablespoon of the cream cheese filling in the middle of the square, then top with 4 raspberries.<br \/>\nTake one of the edge flaps and fold it towards the center, looping over the raspberry. Repeat with the other flaps. Place a raspberry in the center, on top of where all the flaps overlap.<br \/>\nRepeat with the remaining pastry squares.<br \/>\nBake for 15-20 minutes until pastry is golden brown and puffed.<br \/>\nServe with a sprinkle of powdered sugar!<\/p>\n<p>Blueberry Pastry Pinwheel<br \/>\nMakes 9 pastries<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS<br \/>\n1 sheet thawed puff pastry<br \/>\n36 blueberries<br \/>\n9 tablespoons Cream Cheese Filling, recipe above<br \/>\nPowdered sugar<\/p>\n<p>PREPARATION<br \/>\nPreheat oven to 400\u00b0F.<br \/>\nCut the puff pastry into 9 equal squares.<br \/>\nMake 4 cuts on each square, with each cut starting from the outside corners of the square and stopping just short of the center.<br \/>\nTake one of the flaps and fold it towards the center.
