{"id":118398,"date":"2017-02-15T16:02:39","date_gmt":"2017-02-15T16:02:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ssprojects.biz\/newsBlog\/?p=118398"},"modified":"2017-02-15T16:02:39","modified_gmt":"2017-02-15T16:02:39","slug":"wok-cooking-stir-fry-chicken-with-broccoli-recipe-world-of-flavor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ssprojects.biz\/newsBlog\/?p=118398","title":{"rendered":"Wok Cooking Stir-fry Chicken with Broccoli"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_md2Hp1UCeo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Simple Chicken with Broccoli Recipe cooked in a cast iron wok.<\/p>\n<p>The Broccoli gets steamed and the chicken get velveted ahead of time so this is a dish that can be cooked very quickly once all of the prep is done.<\/p>\n<p>Marinade:<br \/>\n8oz Chicken<br \/>\n1\/2 Tablespoon Rice Wine<br \/>\nSplash of Soy Sauce<br \/>\n1 Egg White<br \/>\n1\/2 Tablespoon Corn Starch<\/p>\n<p>Sauce:<br \/>\n1\/4 Cup Chicken Stock<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Hoisin Sauce<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Honey<br \/>\n1 teaspoon black vinegar<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon Garlic<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon Ginger<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon sesame oil<br \/>\nPinch of White Pepper<\/p>\n<p>Thickening slurry:<br \/>\nWater and corn starch (I normally use 2 Tablespoons water and 1 Tablespoon corn starch)<\/p>\n<p>Coat Chicken with marinade and set aside.<br \/>\nMake sauce.<br \/>\nSteam Broccoli until just tender then rinse with cold water.<br \/>\nAdd chicken to slowly boiling water. Stir quickly to prevent sticking and turn off heat. Stir for about 2 minutes until chicken is opaque. Remove from water, drain and let cool.<br \/>\nHeat wok on high heat, add oil and swirl.<br \/>\nAdd chicken and cook until it gets just a bit of color.<br \/>\nAdd sauce when starts to boil add Thickening slurry.
